Continue reading on to find out what Hyundai has in store with the fast-approaching 2020 Venue!

What technology can we anticipate with the Venue?

Hyundai has set a high standard for bringing in the most up-to-date technological rig imaginable in their motor vehicles. Starting off the Venue has an all-new never before seen exterior design with bold elements and optional two-tone color options for the roof, mirrors, and trim design. Within the Venue, Hyundai has packed in a multitude of significant features that push the field into the next age of technology. Featured around the 8-inch infotainment touchscreen display will have the standard smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as app-based navigation, streaming audio, and voice-controlled search capabilities. Most impressive at first glance are the Blue Link integrations with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Simply by asking your Alexa/Google Assistant, you can utilize voice command to start your Venue automatically. This will further be enhanced with voice commands to activate the automatic climate control and defrosting features of the SUV which will also be featured in the 2020 Venue.

How will the fuel economy measure?

Hyundai is excited about their newly incorporated powertrain packing each 2020 venue with the Smartstream Gamma 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine will have a six-speed manual or intelligent variable automatic transmission paired with their very own dual port fuel injection engine. Right out off the assembly line, Hyundai has estimated an overall combined fuel economy of 33 miles per gallon. In order to achieve this impressive metric, Hyundai incorporates a lot of design elements to their powertrain including a high tumble combustion system, reducing surface-to-volume ratio to maximize thermal efficiency, a cooling system optimization with cross-flow configuration, dual port fuel injection, integrated thermal management system and high ignition energy EGR system with an external EGR cooler. With this technological marvel, we would not be surprised to see the 2020 Venue to be a competitive force on the SUV market.

What features will be incorporated to enhance safety?

As with all of Hyundai’s vehicles they have produced, the 2020 Venue promises to have an impressive line of safety features that will help put your mind at ease and bring confidence as you are on the drive. The Venue will include forward collision-avoidance assist which uses the SUV’s front-facing camera to detect an upcoming collision and avoid impact or reduce damage by activating their automatic brake support system. Also included with this SUV will be lane-keeping assist, blind-spot collision warning, driver attention warning, rear collision-traffic warning and drive modes that pair with the SUV’s front-wheel drive to help navigate any weather situation.
