The standard engine included with the Elantra is a 2.0-liter Inline-4 engine that pushes out 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. With this engine, we see a cylinder compression ratio of 12.5:1 utilizing multi-point fuel injection coming standard with front-wheel drive. Most impressive is the fuel economy clocking in at a combined 35 mpg while running on regular gasoline allowing you to stay on the road longer and saving money in the process. With the Eco model of the vehicle, you get a 1.4-liter turbocharged Inline-4 engine that produces 128 hp and 156 lb-ft of torque with improved fuel efficiency. For the GT trim, you have the option to have an improved Inline-4 engine that pushes 161 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque. Lastly, at the Sport and GT N Line trims you will find a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 that pushes 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.

Hyundai offers multiple trim levels each building in layers of features that continue to build off of the base trim package to enhance luxury and help you customize your ride.
