Can you tell us about the Tucson trim levels?

Hyundai offers the Tucson in a total of six trim levels for the 2021 model year. The base trim level is called the SE and it comes with Apple and Android smartphone integration, 17-inch alloy wheels, a six-speaker audio system, automatic headlights, a 7-inch touchscreen, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. The upper trims, the Value, SEL, Sport, Limited, and Ultimate, build on the SE with features like heated mirrors, satellite radio, heated front seats, keyless henry and ignition, dual exhaust outlets, rear air vents, dual-zone automatic climate control, and LED headlights. Other features that can be found within the Tucson lineup include a hands-free liftgate, wireless charging pad, chrome exterior trim, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, automatic wipers, a panoramic sunroof, integrated navigation system, and an 8-inch touchscreen. 

What about the engine options?

When it comes to the power under the hood, there are two engines offered for the Tucson. The base engine is a 2.0-liter GDI 4-cylinder that pumps out 161 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. This engine powers the SE and Value trim levels. The second engine offered is a 2.4-liter GDI 4-cylinder that creates up to 181 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. This engine powers the SEL, Sport, Limited and Ultimate trims. Both engine options are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The standard drivetrain configuration is front-wheel drive but all trim levels can be outfitted with available all-wheel drive.

Safety is a top priority for Hyundai and that is why the Tucson comes outfitted with top-of-the-line safety technologies that make every driver feel more confident and every passenger feel at peace. Standard safety features for the 2021 model year include Driver Attention Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, a suite of airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control with traction control and brake assist, and the LATCH system for child safety seats. Other safety features offered include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view camera system that delivers a top-down look at the Tucson when parking!
