Driver Attention Warning

To help prevent potential accidents, this system monitors your driving patterns to detect drowsy or inattentive driving. Once identified, Tucson alerts you with a sound cue coupled with a warning message on the instrument panel.

What about the engine options?

When it comes to the power under the hood, there are two engines offered for the Tucson. The base engine is a 2.0-liter GDI 4-cylinder that pumps out 161 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. This engine powers the SE and Value trim levels. The second engine offered is a 2.4-liter GDI 4-cylinder that creates up to 181 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. This engine powers the SEL, Sport, Limited and Ultimate trims. Both engine options are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The standard drivetrain configuration is front-wheel drive but all trim levels can be outfitted with available all-wheel drive.
