Starting off the Elantra’s exciting trim lineup is the SE trim. Under the hood sits a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that pups out 147 horsepower and connects to a continuously variable automatic transmission. As for features, they are incredibly plentiful as the SE comes with cloth upholstery, height-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, a four-speaker audio system, and a large 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that you can use without having to connect your phone via a USB cable. Several safety systems are available for the SE and all other trims, including forward collision mitigation, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, rear automatic braking, safe exit warning, and a driver attention warning.

More convenience features are available for the SEL as it adds a keyless entry with a push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, satellite radio, and a six-speaker audio system. In addition, there are a couple of option packages available for the SEL which add more fun features. The Convenience package is with getting as it has adaptive cruise control, an enhanced forward collision system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a wireless smartphone charging pad. Meanwhile, the Premium package has a dark chrome front grille, LED headlights and taillights, sunroof, and Hyundai’s Digital Key.

We are particularly fond of the Elantra Limited trim as it is a top-of-the-line trim with leather-trimmed seats, an enhanced voice recognition system, and rear parking sensors. You also get some upgraded tech, such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen. In addition, there is a Hybrid Blue package that you can get that comes with a hybrid powertrain with a 1.6-liter that pumps out 139 horsepower. Additional features for this package include heated front seats, heated mirrors, and LED taillights.

The Elantra N Line is dedicated to more sporty features, and with it comes a more powerful engine. Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder that kicks out 201 horsepower and pairs with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. In addition, several fantastic features are available for the N Line, including 18-inch alloy wheels with performance tires, sport-tuned springs, and a combination of leather and cloth seats. Want a little more? Then we recommend the Elantra N, which comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that delivers 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque with either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Tons of features are available for the Elantra N as it has 19-inch alloy wheels with high-performance summer tires, larger brakes, sport front seats, and a unique exterior front fascia.
